A Prayer for the Children of SHICS
Lord, we thank You for every child You have entrusted to the Sacred Harvesters International Christian School community. Each child is a precious gift from You, wonderfully made and created for a unique purpose. We pray that You will fill our children with the knowledge of Your will through spiritual wisdom and understanding.
May Christ dwell in their hearts through faith. Root and establish them firmly in Your love so they may understand how wide, long, high, and deep the love of Christ is. Help them grow in wisdom, knowledge, character, compassion, faith, and truth.
Strengthen the children of SHICS with Your glorious power. Give them courage when they face challenges, patience as they learn, humility in success, and perseverance in every good work. Guide their thoughts, words, choices, friendships, ambitions, and dreams.
Protect them wherever they go. Guard their hearts and minds, keep them from harmful influences, and help them choose what is right, honourable, and pleasing to You. May they always walk in truth and treat others with kindness, dignity, and respect.
Help each child discover and develop the gifts, talents, and abilities You have placed within them. Give them confidence to pursue their God-given purpose and teach them to use their knowledge and abilities to serve others, honour You, and make a positive difference in their families, communities, and the world.
Bless the teachers, staff members, families, and leaders of Sacred Harvesters International Christian School. Give them wisdom, patience, compassion, and grace as they nurture and guide these children. Help them work together to provide an education that develops the whole child: spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
May SHICS always remain a Christ-centred school where faith grows, minds flourish, talents are discovered, and godly character is formed. Let it be a safe and joyful place where every child knows that they are deeply known, greatly valued, and unconditionally loved by You.
We ask that the eyes of their understanding be enlightened so they may know the hope of Your calling. May they experience the fullness of Your love throughout their lives and become faithful, compassionate, courageous, and responsible leaders who bring glory to Your name.
